Franchise Animated typeface



Franchise Animated is a new sans serif all-caps typeface designed by one type designer and animated by no less than 110 animators from all over the world. Thanks to the very well defined brief (one glyph per animator, no more than 4 colors, 25 frames and a 500 x 600 px canvas in Adobe After Effects), the result is a superbly varied but coherent typeface.

Animography came up with the concept, the typeface itself was designed by Derek Weathersbee and then animated by a long list of talented animators that you can find here. Both the typeface and the animation files can be dowloaded for free. The animation file contains all the keyframes, expressions and artwork from the artists, making it a great learning source for motion students and professionals.
