New & unseen work from Jordan Metcalf – laser cut / engraved wood type illustration executions.

The ‘Oh what fun’ illustration is laser etched and routed out of Jelutong which is a light but very dense wood. The ‘Take my hand’ scroll is a 3 layer piece made with balsa and ply wood.

Jordan Metcalf from Cape Town, South Africa, is a digital artist who specializes in Graphic Design, Illustration and Typography. Working both independently as a freelancer as well as collaboratively with 3 other designer/illustrators under the name ‘Only Today’.
