Zapf Exhibition, focused on “calligraphy” that is the grass roots of the husband and wife team Hermann Zapf / Gudrun Zapf-von Hesse, will be held at Tokyo curated by J-LAF (Japan Letter Arts Forum) and Akira Kobayashi (Type director at Linotype), co-sponsored by Linotype GmbH. A part of their 70+ years creative activity is introduced with their calligraphy works, metal typesetting (property of The Kazui Press), and the WIP memos of digital fonts and more.
