Knud V. Engelhardt
Overview
Bit of a polymath was one Knud Valdemar Engelhardt; (1882 – 1931) Danish architect, designer and printer that had a major impact on Danish industrial design. He strived for his work to be functional, humanistic and democratic whilst maintaining a sense of folksy tradition.
His beautiful typography and logos were created using bespoke hand generated typefaces and symbols that manage to be organic and industrial – always executed with a great sense of charm.
His life’s work is included in the Danish cultural canon.
